I think that Republican turnout might go up if Trump dies (and Dem would go down).

Trump looks / behaves like shit and Joe's entire sales pitch is about being "not Trump." Slotting in generic Republican #4 (Pence) might not benefit the Democrats.

Hasn't Pence been on shaky ground with Trumps base. I remember just a couple months ago there was a will he or won't he fire Pence and bring in a new VP for this term.

It's known Pence was thrust upon him as one of the 'GOP Party' guys and wasn't Trumps pick. His cult doesn't follow Pence I think NEARLY as much.

I personally feel if something happened, and Pence stepped up to the plate...not nearly all of Trumps cult base (same thing) would back him.
