the potency just relates to the amount you give per dose my guy.
i give 125mg of methyprednisolone and 4-10mg of decadron for average people.
again, has no mineralocorticoid action, and actually the most common steroid that you'll give to let people go home without a Rx (d/t long half life, not that it's "heavier" than others). More commonly would admit someone critically ill w/ hydrocortisone or methylprednisolone. If someone has a true inflammatory emergency, they dont get Decadron. They get 1000mg of methylprednisolone.

This is a little disingenuous though. While potent there's a reason we use dose equivalencies. Fentanyl is thousands of times more potent than other opioids, which is why you dose it lower.

Even that's not a big deal, really. For severe inflammation burst and taper is standard treatment.

The definition of what constitutes "heavy steroid" seems to be largely semantic and I'll concede that I am no expert in the field, although a potent steroid with a fairly long half-life would seem "heavy" to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I posted the tweet because it was amusing, not because I thought it offered deep medical insight, so if the info in it is mistaken that's on me.
