I think the courts were in a good spot until this all happened. Being 5/4 with a swing voter.... you couldn't ask for a better system. The second that turns to one side having a major majority, one way or the other, things are going to go to shit fast.

you wouldn't consider that breaking it if biden was appointing 3 justices in his term, as evidenced by the previous comments, maybe some would, but the pushback would not be anything like talking about adding a bunch more judges imo

The way the system handled is broken and I don’t see changing it within the current framework as realistic. But if we keep alternating making it worse with every change of leadership eventually it will get so bad and ridiculous that there will be no choice but to wipe it and start again.

Wiping it and starting it again is what I am for.
