Why yes, I did, I even commented in it in my reply to Krandor.

The CVS i could go get tested at is free. I would imagine there's a free testing option at a lot of places by now.
Hmm maybe I should have asked if you comprehended it. He said he could have gone to rite-aid. It's easy to get tested here without symptoms.
Testing is pretty widespread, but getting the results back seems to vary. Have some friends in California (Bay area and SoCal) that were able to get the test quickly but took nearly 2 weeks for the results, that was just last month.
Dunno if that’s just in certain areas. Would mean the daily numbers are somewhat skewed.
A lot of countries surveillance test, not only the US. Sweden, for example, have always been testing part of the population to get a kind of snapshot of what it looks like right now.
Then again, we haven't left "wave 1" either. This latest snapshot where they randomly tested 2200 people(eg. not people who went in for symptoms, just random people) is the first time since March when they started testing, where not a single positive was detected.
"you can go to CVS for testing" is the most generic and thoughtless response I can think of to this problem.
Not to mention several times I've had a unit diverted because a patient who tested negative on admission tested positive later and had to be isolated.
The test is far from perfect and universal. Why else do you think we're seeing increases in cases?

Bro you always argue shit no one has said, who said its universal and perfect? You can easily get get tested in the US without symptoms is the claim, do you disagree?
I seriously wonder about you sometimes.

Not even remotely an answer
Hate to get a taste of your own medicine eh
Well its twice in this conversation about ease and high rate of testing in the US hes come in to let us know that we arent "testing everyone" and the tests arent "perfect" when no one has made any such claim. When questioned what he meant he called me obtuse and said he wondered about me instead of an actual answer.
Feel free to let me know next time Im calling you thoughtless for something that you didnt say.
btw guys fomite transmission ain't shit
that's all
Day wasn't talking about surveillance testing
y'all have apparently decided that hc and day are the same person
He's arguing about someone contributing something slightly off topic when he was adding something that was slightly off topic from the original topic.
That's how conversations work, but apparently rather than discuss the content of the statements, it's far more important to detract from that by arguing what was being argued.
It's his schtick.

If you go back I started talking about testing without symptoms because Nynja seemed to be implying it was difficult to get tested without symptoms here. There has been no shtick in this conversation.
I just want to point out that any testing that gives false negatives and can take up to two weeks to get results back, doesn't really count as testing does it? Might as well whip out the crystal ball and make a fucking guess at that point, or flip a coin.
