What reaction does the video aim to evoke?

There’s really only two stances.

1) that’s the patience we need from law enforcement or
2) wow he wasn’t shot because he was white how unfair

It's not an or. There is a causal relationship here. Cops are patient with white suspects yet are aggressive with black suspects in the same situation.

It's the same reason why white "militia" men can open carry guns to counter-protest but armed black or brown people would be shot on sight.

I'm elitist. Modern republican party supports hierarchy, but that is not the same as elitism. The people that emerge on top from American capitalism system that the GOP props up are largely products of generational wealth making it impossible to fail (Trump) rather than embodying proper stratification of society according to ability.

True meritocracy can only be achieved with equal opportunity. While true equity of opportunity is impossible, leveraging the government as a force for re-distribution of resources to at least create some semblance of a fair starting line is the least we should do as a society. Properly regulated neoliberal capitalism that gives opportunity for movement up (and equally importantly, down) the ladder is the closest thing in my mind to fairness.

In XI you don't need a social safety net. You claw your way up. You farm your Hauby and Sniper Rings one beehive chip at a time. You level BRD, WHM, RDM to get into an HNMLS. The only person you can blame for failing to reach a goal in XI is yourself. That isn't true in society at large when the color of your skin gets you shot, when the equipment between your legs makes you a non-candidate for promotion, etc.

I can understand and agree with the first portion. That much was covered when talking with Vaspinne. I conceded in agreeable but me saying we’re on the same page wasn’t good enough for him and he had to continue to call me name in an attempt to belittle me then claim I have reading comprehension problems.

Part two isn’t completely true. There was a large black militia gathering early this month. The only shooting that occurred was friendly fire.

Peaceful protest at the Florida state capitol building almost went haywire today when a counter protester showed up and harassed people and baited them into punching him. He pulled a gun, causing a panic. Thankfully no one was shot. Police detained him but unclear if he was arrested or not.

Tallahassee police have announced there will be no charges filed.

Hmmm maybe she’s right, but I’m going to -hope- they just wanted to make sure that a real medic was helping the guy?? I’m sure a lot of people with 0 experience and barely any supplies call themselves medics during these riots/protests. Tried watching the video like 5x and it looks like once they cleared the way two police medics were on the guy.

Just cause she’s a medic doesn’t mean she can’t have a political agenda.
