We've had a few cases where yes, this was the case. White dude shot at cops or was holding a gun as they barged into the wrong house and he was either tazed/talked down or many other things.

That doesn't sound right.

Clearly in every situation where a police officers life is at risk they'll make sure to determine the skin color of the person shooting at them and then check the flow chart for next course of action.

I'm not excusing the cops for killing Taylor cause they fired back in self defense cause she happened to be in the apartment they had a warrant for but I'm sure you've read how the cops are being excused by the court for doing just that.

I'm sorry, that doesn't really clear it up for me. Are you saying you think the cops are culpable but the courts didn't?

I'd rather the cops confirm the location they are busting into before they rush in guns drawn. How many times do we blame people for putting themselves into the bad situation on these boards?

They knocked. Neighbors came out and at least one was told to go back inside at gun point.
She wasn’t asleep in her bed. She was awake and was shot after her boyfriend shot at the cops upon forcing entry.

A lot of these things are being exaggerated or ignored or stated in a different order etc.

Neighbors? The Kentucky AG said there was only one neighbor that heard the police announce themselves.
