I know I'm a page late because I well, went to sleep, but I thought I'd give a response because I'd like to clarify intent here. I don't want to kill anyone, but I don't know if their intentions are to steal shit from me or to possibly hurt/kill me and my family and if they kick in a door I'm guessing stealth isn't on their plate so I'm assuming hostile intent. The split second I take to give the guy the benefit of the doubt could be the difference between me getting a bullet to the stomach/face or not. I'm not sorry to say I'll always, without question, put the safety of me and my family over some criminal.

Now, If I caught someone quietly breaking into my home? My hope for the situation wouldn't be to kill him, it'd be to hold him until police arrive, and if he ran I'd just have to let him go.

Because ACAB. Logically if someone shoots at you and you can not see who is shooting at you, you don't blindly discharge your weapon especially in a populated area.

The phrase ACAB itself is a hypothetical considering it assumes all cops in all scenarios all act the same. Which they don’t. no they were nice when i first put them on but they hurt the top of my feet after an hour or so, can't wear them much longer than that, i took the insole out and errythang, i been trying to stretch them out this week actually lol
