It’s simple math that both would have been louder lol. Reddit has also pointed out that the official broadcast and the official NFL YouTube upload purposefully altered the audio during that moment to make the boos sound lower than they actually were.

As obvious as it was, it would have been around 4x more people booing based on 15k being present last night versus the 76k that would have been there sans covid. Cheers are also just a higher pitch than boos, so 10 people cheering will sound louder than 20 booing (obviously spitballing the numbers here).

I think the overall point is that Chiefs fandom is now lower on the poll than Philly fans, as others mentioned.

I was watching live on directv and the boos were audibly lower than the cheers at the end. I even commented as much at the time. Idk what else to tell you

I don't know how this is hard for you to grasp: there is a direct correlation between the number of people in attendance and how many boos there will be. You can come to a very clear conclusion that increasing the number of attendees by 4x will increase the amount of booing and cheering....

Given that, the boos during that specific moment would have been much louder and painfully more obvious that it even was last night...

One of my degrees is in statistics, so I'm not wildly making shit up lol.

I think Philly fans are legends. One of the best NFL experiences I've had was going to that stadium lol. City is literally F tier though; the reason for depression and anger is obvious.

the problem with philly is the main downtown area is great, but once you are outside of that area, oh no

i would still take driving into philly and hanging around broad street all day over going to and hanging out in NYC

Gonna have to say NYC shits all over Philly's face. Probably had one of the best nights of my entire life this past February in NYC. I miss being there. Philly is dead last on my list of every city I've ever traveled to.

Edit: I will add that the NYC experience is likely more closely related to the amount of disposable $ someone has than anywhere else I can think of. You get what you pay for kind of place.
