NYT polls of those 4 swing states are out.

Arizona - Biden 49%, Trump 43%
Florida - Biden 47%, Trump 44%
I just can't even with America anymore. How anyone is either that undecided or that determined to vote for this sack of shit is baffling outside of tribalism.
If one's life doesn't revolve around the internet/social media I think it's quite easy to imagine how one could be undecided. For a large portion of americans whoever is president has no real effect on their day to day lives, and the only difference they likely have seen the last 4 years is people crying "orange man bad" on their Facebook.
or
quarantine and resulting unemployment
I mean, we would have seen that kind of stuff no matter who was president. Europe is in pretty deep in the shit right now of people protesting having to shutdown again because of financial reasons.
Sadly, a lot of people don’t care about how badly this pandemic is being handled. Even the numbers as bad as they are don’t matter, we could have 2 million dead and a lot would still be singing the same tune. Until that number hit 1. And that 1 being someone they deeply care about. Then all of a sudden it dawns on them that it could’ve been avoided by something as simple as wearing a mask.
and libs will call them stupid, ignorant, privileged, etc and wonder why they lost their vote
It’s an unfortunate truth that no 1 group of people has a monopoly on assholes.
But they are pretty fucking stupid and ignorant. I have ZERO respect for anyone who thinks COVID is either a hoax, or just isn't that bad. I wouldn't want even them to die from it, but you want see a tear shed from me if each and every one of those deniers (Trump supporters pretty much) suffer for it. I'm tired of being nice to these people. Play stupid games, you should win some damn stupid prizes.
See what I mean
Interesting chart vs 2016. Biden is doing better among olds, youngs, men, women, and whites with and without a college degree than Hillary.
But slightly worse among black and significantly worse among hispanic voters.

Krandor and Day are right, my best friend is a really affluent, intelligent attorney who had like a vague concept Trump wasn't doing a great job but didn't pay attention to anything happening in the news because it didn't really concern him. The only reason that changed is he's worried about his elderly father getting COVID and when Trump said just a couple weeks ago that it wasn't a big deal or whatever that hit home for him and he committed to vote Biden.
