I wouldn't say I'm expecting riots and I live in an area that's probably unlikely to have shit pop-off. However all it takes is one mentally deranged dude in a group to pop a shot and with how law enforcement has been this year, not having confidence that they'll do the right thing makes most results scary to think about.
I'd say it's safe to be cautious and proven wrong than be optimistic and be unprepared.
