Should the GOP grow a conscious in the next few days and decide against confirming ACB and the Dems win control, then we go back to 5-4 Conservative Supreme Court with Roberts being the “swing” vote. Not the most ideal situation but better than a 6-3.

If they ram ACB through the process before or after the election in any capacity then you better believe we pack that court with four extra justices. The GOP are going to cry foul anyway. The Dems should fast track DC and PR into the Union for an extra four Senate seats and pass a voting rights and securities bill along with it. Fuck them and their bullshit. Would love to see their faces when suddenly the Senate is now an even battleground and no longer leans clearly Republican.

easier said than done. Puerto Rico has never actually asked for statehood as all their public referendums deadlock on the matter of statehood v. status quo v. independence (effectively endorsing the status quo), and DC statehood would likely require a Constitutional Amendment given the District Clause and a hostile SCOTUS.
