You can feel the Yoshi-P/FFXIV team fingerprint all over this game lol. Really enjoying it so far, the combat is really fun and the bosses so far have been really varied and enjoyable. I'm actually kind of surprised how constant bigger fights are. No where near as many trash mobs as I expected... so far anyway lol. And having not played the demo (cause I didn't wanna blueball myself for a week), I 100% understand why it built so much hype

Adult Joshua! I called it like 5 mins before they revealed it, guess they were making it obvious after Gav said he was def a dominant of fire and going to Rosaria. No clue how this all ties into that flaming figure and him being there when Ifrit killed Phoenix.

This game. So. Fucking. Good. It's been 22 years. I can hardly believe they did this.

Story hits great beats every couple of hours, but stuff in between can be pretty snoozy. I think I'm at like 50%+

I'm still very early in, but the game pulls no punches. Bloody, stressful, characters make me pissed at them early on. It's really well done.
