Do different Eikons offer different stat builds, different weapon type to be equipped, alter your level up stats, allow you to equip different armor types, give you access to different magic schools? So you're saying there are other weapon types besides the sword? Different armors give different graphical changes?

So what you're saying is that the overwhelming majority of the people making this exact same observation in their reviews are also all wrong? And they're just lying for fun?

The TL;DR is that this is not the game you want. So yeah, best to just move on with your life

Uh, yeah. That was sadly my takeaway from reading multiple reviews. Really fucking disappointed. I put off Xenoblade 3 waiting for this... FUUUUUU.

Edit: yeah, I did want this to be an Elden Ring clone in an FF universe lol. I simply cannot see myself ever going back to playing an action RPG without Elden Ring's level of gameplay depth, customization, difficulty, and fun. Showed me a completely new light.

Future Redeemed came out two months ago, and didnt offer that much in gameplay time, unless you were expecting a $15 (or wtv) DLC to give 60 hours of gameplay.

Was editing my post to account for that, but even then, 30 minutes of gaming per day, you can still clear out the entirety of the DLC within a month.

Nah, I meant I wanted to scratch a JRPG itch since Elden Ring, and it was between XB3 or FF16. I chose FF16 and waited. Ain't nobody got time to sink into back to back JRPGs.

Yeah I'm terrible at finding game time and even I have managed XB3, XB3 expansion, a lot of Zelda and now FF16 lol and several other games in the meantime

The only thing you need from Xenoblade 3 is not to play it. Xenoblade is not, and has never has been a 10/10. Just watch Dunkey's videos on them. All the Xenoblade content you need.

I have my 3rd eikon now. Things are heating up now. when certain abilities were acquired I audibly cheered to myself in the living room lol.

It's a bit slow in the beginning, I can agree with that. But once you have the flow of the combat down with all the abilities? Great fun. Can't wait to get the others.

a few of the quests on the way to oriflamme had a real ghost of tsushima type vibe, just bleak as shit lol. enjoyed it though

Some things never change.
Pulled a fight outta my ass somehow. Reminds me how in Lunar 2 I was in some boss fight , all party dead besides one caster , had like 10 hp left , enough mana for one last spell and last cast killed it.

Things are getting interesting though..

3rd Eikon is so nice. Having the first 2 was fun and all but the damage from the 3rd just speeds fights up so much. Especially against those semi-boss like mobs with stagger bars. That shit goes so much faster now =_=

Limit break seems kind of underwhelming though. Am I missing something about it? Is there some burst attack it does? All I'm getting out of it right now is it making Clive's hack and slash combo faster. Does it combine with Eikon attacks?

Yeah, LB doesn't feel very LBy, but at least it heals you, you get more bars when you upgrade so it lasts a bit, plus it fills up quite fast
