You can see a LOT of Ramza, Denam, Magnus (from Ogre Battle 64) and even Alphonse (from the GBA Ogre Battle - especially post-game Alphonse, lol) in Clive. This game is coated with Matsuno's influence.

Just finished Titan fight.
Not going to say much but kudos to the development team and can't imagine how long that took to create and tune..holy shit.

Edit : Also finished Bahamut fight..shit just keeps getting better in this game. I don't think I've been this hooked on an RPG since FF6.

Uh so I'm in the last 1/4 of the game I would imagine now. I have all but one skill tree left to obtain.

I am currently sitting on almost 400k gil. There's no potions or anything else to hoard, so I've been hoarding gil. I know the trend in FF games is to make currency less important, but I've been saving for endgame stuff, if that's a thing.

Or should I just say fuck it and buy the orchestration rolls, if you all confirm there's nothing worth saving for.

Yeah, nothing really worth saving for. Unless there will be something expensive in NG+ but I just started that last night and it doesn't seem so so far

Just not there's a trophy for spending some money at the Hideout's bar

there's nothing else to really spend the gil on, buy the orchestrion rolls, I finished Final Fantasy Mode with millions of gil even after buying everything

gotta say the ending cutscene being...almost the shortest cutscene in the game was certainly a choice lol

Switch to graphics mode. It's more stable.

ye this game really could've used a little more time in development. 30fps is ass for a high paced action game but 60 is so unstable. motion blur remains an abomination with no toggle.

PC version should clean all this up and dump on the PS5 version

I'm just before the final dungeon (haven't done it yet)

But I imagine a lot of these final quests are akin to endings for each of the characters.

Don't get me wrong, I have legit enjoying them all, but at one point after idk, the 10th one I was like enough already. And I still have like another 10 to do, and that's assuming more doing open up after that lol.

yeah i ended up skipping a few sidequest cutscenes by the end, had to kinda drag myself through the last few hours of the game lol
