Yeah it feels like she appears out of nowhere because her previous mention isn't super highlighted.

The game does a very poor job of handling the time jump. While they're all largely very minor characters, it basically never explains how Clive was interacting with these people for the last 5 years except for maybe a passing reference in the library
The after credits scene really does put a damper on any sequels tbh. I love the touch, but this is one book that should remain closed. No pun intended.

Yeah I don't think we'll get any more. Even though I'd love to see an iteration where they workshop the battle system even more
Finally was able to check out the demo and knowing my PC has no issues running this for the most part, I’m interested in buying.
Reddit seems to hate this game now, whats the deal?
They're mad their precious turned based RPG is action now.
And sidequests are a little boring until later in the game.
I wouldn't really call it a tech demo when it's basically just the underlying engine of XIV with an action based combat system slapped on.
it runs garbage-y. the port is not amazing.
Don't worry, maybe the new $700 version of the system can run it at least 30FPS during the Eikon battles, versus the 12 we were getting at launch
It's running some kind of global illumination that you can't turn off that is just devouring frames, because even setting everything on low the performance is still pretty bad.
My computer can mostly brute force it to playable, but even I'm using FG+dynamic resolution because the performance is so inconsistent
(Note my interpretation of playable means 100+ fps at all times)
My dad introduced me to gaming back when I was 3-4 years old with an Atari 800XL. Later he started opposing it for grades and stuff and we've only had slow computers at home used for office work.
So I kept pushing that 386 DX to limits, even played games at sub 10 fps (Hexen), slideshow style. Optimize the hell out of it via memmaker app and stuff. Explosion and fire effects almost always "paused" the game for me, for years I expected any game to stop whenever there is a fire effect :D Later on I secretly upgraded it to a 486 but then Pentiums were already out. Playstation was the end of suffering for me.
Anyways....
In 2 months MY ps5 will be able to breeze through all those effects. Does your PS5 have what it takes?
Perhaps, but is your PS5 a bad enough dude to save the president?
lol Sony's hype has no limits.
I mean we've even seen "nations ordering thousands of PS2's to build a supercomputer chain network". Poor Dreamcast all it could do to fight back was to sponsor Arsenal.
People networked the PS2? I thought it was the PS3.
Ps3 was the one used for supercomputing yes
PS3 was easier to cluster but all the hype started with ps2 and used a lot for viral marketing.

classic SE, make a decent game that no one can play.
