Well Masters Touch is back, but now it's a skill and not a set bonus AND can roll on charms.

It also caps @ 80% instead of 100%

Speaking of Bludgeoner how does blunt damage exactly work? Does hitting head = KO damage and body = exhaust?

Also are there 2 different types of KOs in this game? Some hunts I notice the mob falls over flailing around when I hit them with enough sticky bombs. But in some hunts when I'm in groups they act more "dizzy" with a similar effect by their face.

Yes. While not actually blunt damage, it is worth noting that even though CB Impact phials deal KO damage, they do not deal exhaust, and vice versa for Switch Axe Exhaust Phials.

Certain monsters have effects directly tied to dealing damage to their head. Magnamalo or Anja while enraged, Elder Dragons, and some others will fall over like KOed if you've dealt enough damage to the head.

What you're talking about though sounds more like a flash bomb effect.

Nah it's not a flash bomb. They were in place and looked daze. Around the 0:45 mark of this vid:

So far it seems new rampages are fast way to get the layer armor tickets(I’ve seen 7 so far). Chameleos and kushala were pure jokes with sticky LBG build. I kept stunning and each run took 5-8 minutes.
