I'm finding kindred spirits here. Nothing is more upsetting than ordering extra extra spicy and you get something as spicy as mustard.

I bought cayenne in Germany and it had almost no flavor, let alone heat.

Until I found an Indian restaurant, the local Turkish place was the only one with any flavor.

Growing up as a kid black people used the least amount of spice I had ever seen. Just microwave dinners and trash from 7/11 with no one even operating stove and some not having one.

Basically lil yachty on hot ones.

Every meal I prepare usually has the following:

Kosher Salt fresh ground
Black Peppercorns fresh ground
Garlic
Parsley
Paprika or Chili powder

And then add in maybe one random spice or more depending on the meal type I am making. Needless to say, all those spices above I always keep well stocked.
