imagine your only exposure to Buddhism being Myanmar's regime. it's a false conflation of course, but it drives the prejudice. Israel is absolutely despised throughout the region and Jews = Israel for a lot of people down there.
Fuck, I lost.

Now Timmy, we can only give you an Xbox and five games for Christmas this year because you did blowtorch your initials into your sister.

They out here trying to cancel Erin from the office
Oh yah, I read that, it was in 1999 when she was 19 years old, I'm guessing this is a situation more along the line of "Daddy was rich and pulled some strings and got their daughter to be the queen". Also seems like their ties to the KKK organization are flimsy to non-existent. The only link this organization has to the KKK is an image/drawing from 1878 of the "Veiled Prophet" that looks similar to a current-era KKK Uniform, except the KKK didn't adopt a uniform like that until 1915, so its entirely coincidental.
Now I understand its connection to racism from what went on in the in the 70's/80's, they had their fair share of racist members and racist rules, not to be that guy but it was the 70's/80's, racism wasn't hard to find. The ""trail of racism"" goes cold around the late 1980's though and reforms began happening in the VP Ball according to the wiki page, in 1979 they allowed Black Members to join. By 1999, the ties to racism might not even exist other than the fact rich white people were there. And to be perfectly honest, what 100+ Year traditions started in the 1800's doesn't have some form of "Racist" Past that likely doesn't even exist as part of the event in the current Era?
Regardless of if its a racist ball or not, this seems like a nothing-sandwich for her specifically, 19 years old means she probably have very little knowledge of the Ball other than it being a 100+ year old STL Tradition, and hopefully she comes out the other side of this OK.
Side note: I've never heard of this Ball until yesterday when I read about it, and its from my home town...
Edit: Also, I've been to a Fair Saint Louis, and apparently that used to be a VP thing, it was even named the VP Fair until 1992. Like damn, I've never heard of this shit until now.
People really digging with that one to immediately swerve it around to "KKK Princess"
Woke culture be like "YOUR GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER OWNED SLAVES, YOU RACIST"
I'm shocked white people are defending their KKK princess. She is cute and funny though, so I'm ok with her.
I bet Dim's great great great great great great great grandparents owned slaves.
