The NFL and the New York Giants are investigating images circulating on social media of Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones allegedly partying in New York without adhering to the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

In the images, Barkley, the Giants’ Pro Bowl running back, and Jones, the starting quarterback, are pictured at a bar not wearing masks.

In an Oct. 5 memo to teams, commissioner Roger Goodell said that “protocol violations that result in virus spread requiring adjustments to the schedule or otherwise impacting other teams will result in additional financial and competitive discipline, including the adjustment or loss of draft choices or even the forfeit of a game.”

they let guys beat women, drive drunk, and various other actual criminal activities. drinking at a bar, especially a bar that isn't even open to the public and the players are the only ones there, isn't even breaking a bylaw let alone criminal. it's barely even breaking the nfl's internal rules (if the bartender wasn't there they wouldn't be breaking any rules at all).

i mean think about it. going to a closed bar with your teammates is actually about as safe as you're going to be when going out and about in the world. its not far off from gathering at one of these dudes houses, which is perfectly fine even to the vastly more strict nfl guidelines compared to our own
