why is that

I mean I posted this several times already. Immigrant communities' voting preference can be reliably inversely correlated against the ideology of the country they immigrated from. Cubans leaving a socialist Cuba are reliably right-leaning. Mexican voters can even be predicted by looking at who was President of Mexico when they immigrated. These are controlled for other factors. So older voters skew right and younger voters skew left, women skew left, etc.

That means Cubans in particular, among Latino populations, can be expected to outright reject anything associated with socialism as a result.

They are literally a brown version of the people who say they support the ACA but don't support Obamacare.
