Biden is reportedly resistant to the idea of prosecuting Trump for anything he did in office as he thinks that will just further divide the nation, but is also dedicated to the Justice Department being independent of the White House.

I think there's a lot of pressure on him from the party to investigate Trump so I can't see him outright pardoning him but nor do I think he'll direct the DoJ to do or not do anything. Regardless, Trump faces fraud, tax evasion, and rape charges in New York at 12:01 January 20th that the President can't do anything about.
