Must be hot up there.
as schadenfreudey as the circus is we need less absurdism in our politics
The Trump campaign did drop it's last lawsuit in Michigan a few hours ago, claiming that they accomplished what they set out to do by preventing the Wayne County ballots from being certified. The Wayne County ballots, of course, have been certified.
lmao
Trump campaign be like
Trump is now inviting Michigan GOP leaders to come to the White House.

To complain at them in person?
Really didn't think it would go this far. The R has really disappointed me on this shit, I always saw them like McCain for the most part. That when it came down to it, certain things they would never entertain. Last few years, and the last month really, that the party that was so... American... was quick to sell out.
This is pretty much what Republicans have been about since Reagan, they were just nicer about it. Now they said fuck it, mask off since they see how popular their bullshit is. Even if you didn't see it with Reagan, the rise and embrace of the tea party should've given you an idea of how far they'd go.
Even then, I would argue the Tea Party was just proto-Trumpet. There are a few, what I would label "good Tea Partiers" in Congress (like Massie) who really just believe in the no taxes bullshit, and are willing to stand up to both parties. But for the most part, the Tea Party was just a home for what we now know as Trumpets.
Seems like Trump threatened to kill their children slightly too late in the process.

Monica Palmer and Willam Hartmann initially voted against certifying countywide election results during a Tuesday meeting, later changing their minds and voting in favor of certification on the condition that an independent audit is conducted.
The Secretary of State’s office, however, argues there is no legal mechanism for Palmer and Hartmann to rescind their votes. All 83 counties in Michigan had certified their elections as of Thursday, Nov. 18.
“Their job is done and the next step in the process is for the Board of State Canvassers to meet and certify,”
So is this whole thing getting dragged out because Trump is just refusing to lose or is there some kind of long game loop hole that gives him an advantage if he drags it out long enough?
He gets to sew chaos the longer he delays the new team from coming in. That's literally been his main underlying goal from minute zero.
Every day the new team is delayed the worse it makes them appear when they do get in. Which is bullshit but Americans are dumb.
He also makes money off of it.
