I'm of the opinion that Trump is only relevant so long as he's winning, and once Jan 20 hits and he's officially the loser he starts waning in support. Once he has to appear in court or worse, plead guilty to some crime, he will continue to show he's a loser and continue to wane support while another conservative demogogue appears to take the reins.

I don't buy it. Trump has shown us is that the Republican base will happily get behind the tough guy bully type. And Cruz ain't that guy.
