Shepard's story ought be over, but given how creatively bankrupt Bioware has become not surprised they're trying to draw from the well of when they were a better company

I'd take them drawing the nostalgia well dry over whatever the hell an original story would be.

Between the teaser trailer and this image we're clearly getting some kind of continuation of the original trilogy. As long as they make destroy ending canon and they Shepard survives (since we see Shepard in that pile of rubble at the end of that one), idc what else they do with it really.

And if you're some weirdo who picked a different ending other then just to see what happens well, stop being wrong.

i'd rather them not degrade the legacy of the original trilogy, Andromeda hurts a lot less than ruining Liara and Wrex would.

also from a narrative perspective it should be over. Shephard's story is told. even in a best case scenario you got a why the fuck is Toy Story 4 being made problem.

i honestly don't remember clearly which one i picked, think it was destroy because my Shep was big r renegade. but they were all so aggressively bad and terrible reductionist ways to end it all. remember damn near everything in Citadel tho.

My wild speculation for a sequel, spoilers for the trilogy and Andromeda here:

There was another unaltered clone of Shepard aboard the Hyperion, put there by Illusive Man or the mysterious benefactor, who may be the same person idk, anyways Liara (and maybe Wrex) found out about it at some point but because they had not yet heard from the Hyperion all this time they assumed it was destroyed. The Ryder siblings eventually figure out a way to destroy the Scourge that was blocking the long range FTL communications and now contact between Andromeda and Milky Way is reestablished, Liara is trying to get there to wake up Shepard. Maybe by now they’ve figured out a way to travel there more quickly or maybe that’s part of the game, figuring out a way to get them reunited idk I can’t do BioWare’s entire job for them but there boom goes the dynamite

Missed out on it as Amazon yanked it after about thirty minutes, but the Steam version was on sale for $9.99

Possible it was supposed to be on sale, just not at that price, so may be something to keep in mind for those like me who have never played ME and want to give it a shot.

About 5 hours into the game, just got done dealing with my first run with the Echo. I now understand the hate.

The thing is they actually fixed it in this. There's an option to enable the OG controls and then you can discover the pain. I don't think there's a way to restore the original physics for it though, which was what was truly awful.

iirc there was no boost button in the original either, just the jump one

The controls were strange but at least they were usable?

It was slowly scaling inclines only to slide back down that was the true horror

Yeah, dunno where I came up with Echo.....

Biggest issue I've had is the dn thing will flop like a fish out of water if you flip it, and only way to get it back up is spamming thrusters.

Could have easily solved it with a flip vehicle button like Halo

The fact it's actually better now is even scarier.
