A moment of debt relief doesn't address the problem. Needs to be a plan by the government for removing interest payments on student loans, and adding criteria for forgiveness. Not a blanket "let's just take the total debt that's growning exponentially back a few years."

So it failing removes satisfying people with an improper band-aid and empty campaign rhetoric for re-elections. I know everyone that just wants the money now will be upset, but it's a problem bigger than the moment of people it applies to.

Fuck that noise, I have a request for nuking all of my Art Institute loans still in the works. I'm not paying a fucking cent towards my loans until those are forgiven since they are all roped up and consolidated now! Thankfully I can just request forbearance until court ruling I believe.
