Interestingly, I did a comparison of life-expectancy to president age, and our 80 year old Presidents are almost equivalent to the life expectancy at founding to the 35 year old age restriction.

see though humans were never dying at 40 years old in any great number. people do dumb math with yesteryear’s life expectancy often. generally if you survive childhood you get 3 scores of life to live; it’s been that way for millennia. and i’d prefer options other than two 60 year-olds if i were voting in 1880 too, although they’d prolly be less decrepit than Biden
