Oh yeah, the whole Nightblood reveal was INSANE to me when I read it the first time.

Warbreaker also explains the Wit + doll scene in Oathbringer's epilogue. As well as Zahel's fight in RoW and Azure's weird shardblade.

I’ve pretty much used twitter for only a single thing my entire life and it was to tweet to Sanderson a screenshot, when the Bloodborne DLC had just dropped, of an NPC dressed kind of like a Mistborn in the game. He actually responded asking what outfit it was.

Man, as much as I'd love an Elden Ring 2, I'd love to see a Sanderson/Fromsoft collab. Since he actually plays the game I think he'd be able to contribute so many ideas to work with From.

At the end of the month, Tor will be releasing spoiler chapters (2 per week) until the book's release in December. Similar to previous Stormlight books, it will total about 20% of the book, though Brando Sando said it's up to a full 1/3 of the book will posted for free. Which at that point it's p much an entire novel considering a Stormlight novel's length.

What's absurd is in the initial launch as of posting this, nearly 70% of backers are getting the GM ($295) or Collector ($380) tiers.

Then realize that there will be books for every world and magic system with Mistborn and Elantris first followed by everything else for what they claim will be 20 years of perpetual development.

I think this is a common sentiment, but I think I'll read it chapter by chapter. I know for a lot of us reading it as a book feels "right", but its really interesting to me that serialization was a legit way to publish/read books back in the day. So I think I will read chapter by chapter up until Brandon cuts me off.

Yeah, apparently the record for a TTRPG is the Avatar the last airbender RPG at under 10m. I think this is going to beat that, which is nuts. Hopefully I'll be able to get some cash to participate before the deadline.

So the implication was that Rhysadium's are bonded to music spren and the one that wanted Adolin's pets was his old horse's spren right? Probably the most touching moment of the book so far for me

Also Shallan with her best Thanos impression




Not a huge fan of how at peace Kaladin feels and all the goodbyes. Hopefully it's a red herring

Can't wait for Dalinar/Navani in the Spiritual realm adventures while Shallan and Mraize fuck up stuff for them lol
