Eshonai's final gift from the storm father - weird how those pages got all wet, I definitely didn't cry.

Also all yall talking about conspiracies and shit, now I gotta delve into coppermind and figure out wtf is going on. Curious how Thaidakar may be Kelsier. The last novella was the 11th metal yes? Guess I need an Ars Arcanum reread. I also never touched the 2nd trilogy

Order of reading should be Mistborn Wax + Wayne 1-3 then Secret History. But you can straight up read Secret History since you have a small idea what Cognitive Shadows are already.

all the mental health stuff is so prominent I feel like the whole conflict gets solved by Kaliden inventing a series of medications and therapies that everyone from humans to singers to gods can use to help manage their issues.

The hints dropped in the text indicate that whoever Thaidakar is, it's a he, and he's stuck on Scadrial. We also know Wit once slapped him around, which he did to Kelsier in Secret Histories. Also his title is "Lord of Scars," Kelsier's defining trait.

It is. There's a quick excerpt from Arcanum Unbounded for each System, and describes aspects of the magic systems on each planet. It's technically not the sand, though.

This does seem to be the book where he’s finally comfortable enough with throwing in blatant, solid mentions of characters/ideas from other cosmere novels quite frequently as more than just Easter eggs. You still don’t need to have read them to understand the context, but I get the feeling after a few more books might start being required reading. I know I’ll probably reread the entire cosmere before the next Stormlight Archive comes out.

The required reading will be Warbreaker, Mistborn era 1 + Mistborn Secret History at minimum. Mistborn era 2 takes place after Stormlight 1-5.

Though I'm not too keen on dropping ~$65 for all 3 volumes of White Sand on graphic e-book that I'll wait a bit on that series.

It all depends on the greater Cosmere timeline of when the events of Alloy of Law occur relative to The True Desolation and when Paalm/Lessie is directed to be Wax's bodyguard. Readers also lack the timeframe of reference when Hoid and Harmony's correspondences of the Stormlight novels' epigraphs occur.

Based on the opening of Harmony's response in Part 2's epigraphs:

"Dear Wanderer,
I did receive your latest communication. Please forgive formality on my part,
as we have not met in person. I feel new to this role,
despite my years holding it.
You will admit to my relative youth, I think."

They could have been talking anywhere between a few years after Scardrial's events of the Final Ascension to years before Wax was born. But it is clear Harmony has only begun searching for a champion. Whether Wax is the champion would be answered in the next and final Mistborn Era 2 novel. It's still slated for Fall 2021 but that's based on last year's State of the Sanderson. Sanderson appears to be pumping out Skyward 3 before jumping into Mistborn though based on his website's progress bar.

Edit: Was listening to a podcast discussing the epigraph. Hoid continues to operate in the shadows and out of Harmony's vision. In Shadows of Self, Hoid is driving the carriage when Wax is talking to Harmony. Obviously Harmony couldn't talk to Hoid (no hermalugic spike) nor was aware of his presence. You would think a highly invested being would shine like a candle. And it couldn't be a coppercloud since that would tip Harmony off.

Pretty sure just a nice ending for her story arc. Finally getting the chance to see the world and dream about the next adventure. Maybe, possibly, hinting at Tranquiline Hall stuff on the other planet? I am not looking too deep into it
