The fucking Madlad. 3 Cosmere novels. 1 non-Cosmere.
It's literally this

tl;dr - writing unplanned random stuff prevented a burnout
I HATE THIS MAN. Even his marketing materials have sanderlanches in them.
Fucking amazing. Getting the ebooks
3 new cosmere books?!?!
Honestly kinda want the swagboxes but $300 is a lot. Wish there was more info of whats in there
Yeah I saw the shipping prices. yeesh.
Still want though. At least it's only +80 for shipping because I just want the ebooks
His books changed my life so i got the most expensive thing. Paying so much for shipping hurt my soul tho.
I haven't been able to talk myself into the swag boxes since they come out to $400 extra. Got a month to change my mind
Also this is gonna be the most funded kickstarter of all time
After getting the Way of Kings leatherbound swag bag, I don't think I need any more random swag from the other worlds (for now.) I do love them challenge coins though that I added on.

Now I would laugh if the Cytoverse bag comes with the high demand Doomslug socks.
What all was in that swag bag?
The part I am having trouble with is that each box comes out to $50 (if in US). I would do like one box at that rate, can't justify doing all of them lol

If I were to believe what will be in these swag boxes, my best guess is a decent "loot crate" fun box based on the items on the Dragonsteel Entertainment site. Though I don't think they would do much in terms of repeats on the site because that would piss off some people.
I think the Doomslug socks would be an exception because I find nothing wrong with tossing those in the swag bag. Hell I would be happy for a Doomslug plushie and nothing else
I think the Kickstarter already said the main 3 items won't be anything from the store
You are correct - said in the FAQ section. Well that's awesome. And it's going to be 3 sets of items per box. 1 main and 2 supporting. Looks like Dragonsteel Entertainment has their work cut out for them.

Secret Project #1 - Tress of the Emerald Sea
Told in the perspective of Hoid. So if you liked Wandersail and The Dog and the Dragon, this will be in your wheelhouse.
I had to stare at his Kickstarter numbers just now for a full minute, to make sure I really was counting it as 20 million dollars... 12k backers for the top tier...
so the way Kickstarter works, I have the remainder of the countdown to buy the thing, correct? I might have to wait for taxes to come in before I drop $300. Though I also have to think about just doing 40 for the ebooks.
You can get the ebook tier then upgrade to a higher tier before everything gets locked in on BackerKit. From the FAQ.
If I pledge to back a specific tier, but later change my mind and wish to back a different tier, can I make that change?
Yes! You have until our campaign ends to modify your pledge level. After the campaign ends, you will have the option to change or upgrade your pledge through the BackerKit pledge manager when you complete your backer survey, and pay the difference in pledge amounts. Please be aware that once your Kickstarter pledge has been charged, we will be unable to offer a refund if you wish to choose a lower priced tier. Please be certain of your choice before the end of the Kickstarter campaign!
Ya that's what I did for now and then if I talk myself into spending $400 more by the end of the month I'll do the full box lol
And as of this morning, it's the most funded Kickstarter* of all time.
While this won't upend traditional publishing, it's a very loud message that will create waves in the industry.
*note* It would need an additional $13M to eclipse the combined Pebble ($20.3M) and Pebble 2 ($12.8M) smart watches.
