If I were a Bengals fan, I’d be worried his career is done. He will try to come back for certain, but there is probably a good chance he is never the same.

he's a qb not a rb, knee injuries aren't the end of the world. big ben has been playing on shit knees for over a decade at this point. teddy's injury was worse than burrows and he's out there as a starting qb right now. be less dramatic lol
yeah wentz had basically the same injury and he’s been fine since
i mean his knee
his knee has been fine since
just need to do something about his brain
brandon allen is gonna be the starting qb for cinci vs the gmen
steelers ravens is being moved from thursday night to sunday afternoon
... does this make dalton prime time dalton or no
you guys ever think about how it's dicked up Patrick Mahomes is like 6 years old in football time and already the GOAT in the making
remember that one time 9 teams passed on him
remember that time Chicago drafted Trubisky instead
i can understanding passing on mahomes because he was such a wild card. he could've been amazing but he could've been ryan leaf too.... deshaun watson on the other hand was a two time national champion that put up 400+ on 'bama twice in those championship games. he was a lock to be great
chicago passing on watson is arguably the most egregious thing to happen in the history of the nfl draft and nobody can convince me it wasn't based on race
Reminder the bears also traded up for Trubisky.
It is very hard to argue against Mahomes, but he has the coach/FO advantage over Watson. But if you are giving me the #1 overall pick, same coach/GM, and every current player is in the draft, I would have to be talked out of Watson.
mahomes is far and away the better talent at this moment in time... but pre-draft he wasn't a lock to good at all. a lot of people thought the sidearm/wacky shit he was doing in the big 12 wouldn't work against nfl defenses. you had to project as a coach being able to improve mahomes' decision making/pocket passing to have him turn out to how he plays now

Every time I hear about this guy I’m baffled he hasn’t been blackballed from the entire league yet, let alone the Jets.
yeah there's just no justification. yes we know the context, we know the thought patterns at the time, and they were all dead wrong. he's on his way to being the greatest football player of all time and he went 10th. and, Kansas City sawr. they traded 3 picks to move up to draft him despite coming off Alex Smith's probowl 12-4 season.
