Yeah this game is a banger so far. They absolutely nailed it.
Hadn't really been planning on playing this but took the plunge after hearing all the word of mouth and yeah... this is fantastic.
Just from the opening mission the heavy Uncharted influence is clear, I didn't think IO Interactive had these kinds of storytelling chops.

Amazon says IO will not be developing sequels. Future development will be handled by MGM and Amazon Games.
Uhh...well I won't be playing future games then.
i mean why would they want to stick with the ones who gave them a critically acclaimed commercially successful hit
Start with a banger and then cut corners and put out a cheap imitation product, it's the Amazon way
Well the article is not actually saying that IOI isn't developing. Just that they aren't sure if they are still gonna be the developer. What is changing for sure is that IOI won't be Publishing.
Ideally you'd double down on it. Let IO do their sequel and publish it (assuming they want to make a sequel) as the safe bet since they already established their formula/workflow, while your own internal studio does their own thing.
I'm not going to be against more Bond games.
I wondered why Lenny Kravitz had such a small role lol
Finished the game and got all achievements in 27~ hrs. Thankfully there aren't any tied to finishing all challenges in the story missions or tacsim.
Really enjoyed it, looking forward to more story content later this year. I like the story mode more than I do the challenge modes like the Hitman games, but may play through them over time.
Spoilers obviously

Amazon walks back comments about taking 007 off of IO, but does say 'anything's possible' when it comes to buying the studio outright
