I had some mental fatigue at the end of the afternoon yesterday. Felt like I could fall asleep by like 7.
I was feeling fine until I had a 110 minute match in Dota 2 because some dumb sudaca picked Techies so I passed out like three hours before I normally would.
Yeah, tbh I am so pro-vax to move the country on, but this... If I were preggo, breastfeeding, or trying to get preggo I wouldn't take it, either, and I don't blame anyone in that category not getting it.
I hope we don't have any long-term fertility issues for women who get it. I am glad I am past that point, and my daughter is too young for the shot.
I'm not giving a pass for "trying to get pregnant" - get the shot and try getting pregnant in a couple months and enjoy your peace of mind.
I am not sure about pregnant or trying to get pregnant but my wife is breastfeeding and has done a ton of research about the vaccine for breastfeeding women and everything points to it being a good idea as antibodies are passed on and can provide some pretection for the baby. She got both her shots already. I will have to ask her for some of the people she has communicated with about breastfeeding and the vaccine.
Got my Pfizer today. I have to give it to Detroit and TCF center. I was in and out in 30 mins, and that is including the 15 mins they make you wait just in case you have a reaction. The shot itself i could barely feel. The flu shot hurt more than that thing.
The babies haven't been born yet. So we don't know yet how fine they are.
This isn't just a few women getting their periods messed with. It's a lot. It really isn't good at all to be so dismissive to women's concerns in that area. I mean, having irregularities in that area is going to be something we want to know more about.
Again, not saying it must mean something is wrong, I am saying overall they are not even bothering to talk about it. And that to me is very concerning. That's an important area you want healthy. It isn't just fertility, it's things like cancer and such.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but I know enough about human development physiology to tell you there's a low likelihood of problems. You are correct we don't know, but the results are relatively safe to predict.
But you don't speak as an official for the country. I am saying officials (CDC, Fausi, etc.) aren't talking about it, so how can anyone blame a woman for not getting the shot? I literally can only find two articles that address specifically the covid vax and menstrual cycles and it's a report about Israel:
https://www.israelhayom.com/2021/02/...nstrual-cycle/
The CDC doesn't even list it as a side effect.
Again, I have to hope it's nothing, I just think it's absolutely stupid official sources aren't addressing it; therefore, I don't blame any women for not getting the shot over concerns about it.
I honestly, also think it's stupid to attribute things like stress, eating habits (per article), because it's assuming suddenly tons of women across the world who got the shot changed their eating habits or became stressful at the same time.
I already got the shot, you don't need to convince me of anything. I am saying that people shouldn't blame women who avoid the shot over fertility/baby/menstrual concerns because officials are brushing it under the rug.
Pro tip to any unmarried (and I guess some that are married) men here: Never try to diminish a women's feelings about their period, whether it's the covid vax, or cramps, or temper, how much chocolate they are eating, or anything.
I said they, not you. And yes I can blame them if they decide based on what public officials are or not saying instead of speaking to their damn doctor.
