There are tons of appointment slots for J&J vaccines via the LA Fire Department vaccine PODs. One could easily get an appointment for 9am today (less than 2 hours from this post.) I guess people don't want the "inferior" vaccine.

Restricted still (50+, health risk, occupational.) But when I went last week the workers were not checking credentials during check-in.

Getting a rapid test this morning since my roommate popped hot. Not sure how this will affect my first dose I got last Thursday, but it would have been during the contagious time frame.

Shouldn't delay your second shot though. Couple weeks after that and your quarantining days are over no matter who pops hot.

Friend of mine got the covid arm side effect about 8 days after second shot. Soreness and swelling at the injection area. According to what she read, this happens in .8% of all patients who had that vaccine. I believe hers was Maderna or however it's spelled.
