Both my AP and one of my fellow teachers has COVID. I dunno how my AP is doing, but my coworker said her whole family is sick and it sounds not great.

Dunno if she's in the hospital, but she responded to a text this morning, so I am hoping not. :X

I feel so bad for them and I thank my lucky stars we didn't do in-class/hybrid.


Having a family over two weeks from now and both households are quarantining until then. Looks like our personal family gatherings for xmas are to be cancelled so this will be our "Christmas" gathering.

My kids miss their grandparents on my hubby's side, and this is the first year since their existance we've skipped Thanksgiving and Xmas. But let's be real, better to skip it than accidentally give them COVID.

Dumb ass Trump loving, no mask wearing, moron of a boss that I work for tested positive. Last Thurs he said his recently ex wife tested positive and she was there for Thanksgiving. I yelled at him what the fuck are you doing here? GO GET TESTED!
He said, Nah...I don't have symptoms and left for the day. 15 minutes later he texted me that he was just fucking with because he knows how crazy liberals get about Covid-19. I haven't seen him since. Today, the owner tells us my manager tested positive and will be out until next week.

If I'm the owner of a company and my manager knowingly went into work with the knowledge he was in direct contact with someone that was positive.... I would be looking for a new manager. Causing an outbreak in your company is a quick way to lose money.

Isn’t this a large part of the new stimulus bill? Insulation for employers to force people to come to work under unsure circumstances?

The big hang up is Republicans/Turtle want a liability shield for businesses for CoVID related lawsuits. Because it isn't the fault of corporations/businesses if their employees catch CoVID while on the clock while not providing a thorough health mitigation plan with PPE guidelines, sanitation stations, and other things that eat into the margins.

We're in the thick of out here gents. We are converting conference rooms into patient rooms and the equipment scramble is in full swing. The ice truck is stacking up.

And in the middle of all this, had a staff member (not in my department) come to work knowing they were sick.

What the fuck is wrong with people.
