Ottawa's had a handful of new cases, compared to the superspreader shit there. Toronto to Ottawa is something like 3 hours away, no ones driving that just to go shopping.

It's a good five hours on highway 7 if you take at least one break for food/gas/whatever. Any sane person isn't going to do a 10 hour round trip for some shoppin/partying. It's why the whole GTA area is fucked, people just going to the neighboring less-hot spots to do business.

I've never driven from Ott to Toronto, I assumed 3ish hours because Montreal to Toronto is about 5.5, and Ottawa to Montreal is 2.

Ford is blaming the Quebecers for Ottawa getting the full lockdown, because "Quebecers will flock to Ottawa in droves". Quebec's pretty much been in lockdown for 3 months now, and there aint shit to do in Ottawa.
