I dont think he's doing laps in a pool with an oxygen tank
But AG tends to be extra
I finally got my exercise bike. It cost me $370 and came with a 1 year membership to iFit (costs $400). iFit has studio classes among other things so ultimately I save money by just doing it at home instead of getting a gym membership. I highly recommend it. I gained 20 lbs (cries) due to the quarantine, and I am down 6 from that. Goal is to at least get to the weight I was precovid, and go from there.
I will say though be careful of what you get for equipment. The bike I got was the Costco Proform one, and the pedal broke. I have been 5 weeks now waiting for a replacement part. Proform customer service said they don't know when they'd get the part to me as they have a list of people who need it.
Thankfully, Costco rocks and I was able to exchange the bike no problem. But yeah.
With that being said, there are a ton of virtual studio class apps you can use to get that gym feel, as long as you can by w/e equipment you need. Spotting situations is the only problem where you need another person. YMMV on space issues, but there are tons of things you can do in your home that doesn't require a lot of space. There are even treadmills that fold up.

I think that still gets us to 75-80%.

my herd is getting vaccinated so i don't have to
Man I am failing at trying to get an app. Anyone use Mychart?
I guess I have to get an app. invite through them, but I can find no where on the website where I can label myself as an educator to put me on a list.
I also tried Walgreens, Costco, and CVS but they are all booked up.![]()
Don't expect anything this week since the number of eligible Californians skyrocketed by 7 million. Slam the usual sites at like 5am daily for an appointment.
I use MyChart (all my providers are with Duke). I don't remember having to do anything special to set it up. Granted that was probably almost a decade ago, or at least the better part of it. Best I can recommend is to talk to your doctor's office and see if they can help you get set up. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Edit: If you're just trying to get on the list for the vaccine, you probably just tell wherever you're getting it from. There's nothing in the app for vaccine groupings. They're probably just using the app for scheduling and messaging.
Ah ok that makes sense, thanks!

Because the people complaining about saying they can't wear them typically can, they just can't be assed to deal. I'd have more respect for someone who says hey, I hate working out while wearing a mask so I'm going elsewhere or doing it on my own so I don't have to versus the wah, I can't breathe while wearing a mask, this is an ADA violation bullshit crowd.
