Both conferences will have the current 8th (Warriors and Hornets) and 9th (Grizzlies and Wizards) seeds playing head to head to determine who gets locked into those respective spots, plus probably going to come down to these final games to determine who between Steph and Beal walks away with the scoring title.

Should be a fun close to the regular season.

Tiebreakers:
Knicks > Hawks
Hawks > Heat
Heat > Knicks
Hawks "win" a three-way tiebreak as division winners

Knicks and Hawks currently have the same record, Heat one game back

Knicks play early against Celtics - Celts have no Jaylen and nothing to play for - if Knicks win, they clinch 4th. If they lose, see tiebreakers

Hawks play Rockets - if Knicks win, Hawks can rest players given we'll be set at 5th since the heat would still lose the tiebreaker to us

Heat v Pistons - Heat need the Knicks to lose to be able to move up

So really all of the importance is on the early Knicks game. They should win given they have every motivation too and Boston could benefit from resting players. The spread reflects that with Knicks -11.5
