great game so far, Luka went ballistic in the first quarter + Zinger actually doing more than sitting on the perimeter, but Mavs can't guard a ham sandwich on the other end. Clipps shooting 60%-50%-100% so far lmao.

but the Mavs' just lost the thread. ice-cold from 3 with the typical defensive woes. Luka needs a 2nd star and they need defenders or there's a whole lotta first and second round exits in their future.

both mann and kennard had a great game. honestly, kennard showed some defensive intensity and confidence in shooting that had been missing all season. i thought he might not even get garbage time minutes this series, but now i see him as integral for the rest of the playoffs.

morris was hot garbage but he showed up. his defense in g6/g7 was so good.

luka is just something incredible. he needs some damn help. but it's a real treat to watch this guy at the very start of his career.

thanks. i will say the same to you, and i'll say this first round of the playoffs has been pretty pleasing watching the suns dumpster the lakers out, in addition to the clips making it to the next round. i mean honestly, had clips lost tonight i woulda been like, oh well. at least lakers are out too hahaha

i do think clips/jazz will be a fun series to watch. had the clips just swept the mavs i don't think they would have figured out some of the things that they did over the entire 7 games (nic batum at center, kennard/mann being legit playoff performers). you need growth in the playoffs to win the whole thing, and that first series mighta been it.

meanwhile, i'll watch your team run straight through denver into the WCF. if i'm lucky, the clips will see them there

my man isn't wrong. a KP that can't protect the rim loses half his value. his opponent FG% going from -11.1 to -3.3 in just one year is p horrific. and his offensive game is basically stagnant from his sophomore year. zero improvement anywhere.

problem is with his contract how would you even get rid of him, and what available star out there meshes with Luka.
