Decision desk called the Ossoff race.
So the new congress is sworn in. Despite the GA outcomes tonight, Senate votes will be D49-R50 until Newsom appoints an interim? Won't that also mean McConnell remains the majority leader until such time CA has a new senator?
Cool, now legalize medicinal marijuana on the federal level you cowards.
Newsom already picked Alex Padilla. He fills the seat as soon as Kamala vacates it.

Ah, and she remains a CA senator until she resigns on the 20th to be sworn in as VP, at which point Padilla immediately fills the seat. So the leader is Schumer all the way through the inauguration and until at least Jan 2023 (barring a Dem senator vacating a seat in a Rep governed state that doesn't require they appoint an interim of the exiting senator's party). Got it.
No, Pence breaks ties until inauguration. McConnell remains leaders until Biden is sworn in. Or I would suspect he should.
I still haven't gotten my stimulus deposit.
WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THE MCCONNELL DEFEAT MEMES I WAS HOPING TO WAKE UP TO!
I don't get which side works for Trump.
On one hand, GA going blue means his followers didn't come out because he told them to.
On the other, Perdue and Loeffier both stood with Trump and attached themselves to him and still lost.
I'm not sure if this makes Trump more powerful or less.
