People weren't going to pay the taxes on it anyway, would be / will be a big problem. 20-30 million people got 15k last year, how many you think opted to have tax taken out or will pay the back owed part. Not enough is the answer.

probably a wash, marginal tax rates on people with unemployment income are not very high usually

but again, it's unclear whether the tax break is for income earned this year or if it's retroactive for last year

So the debate time has been shortened from 20 hours to 3 because after the reading was done Ron Johnson left the chamber, and Chris Van Hollen walked in and requested the change and no Republicans were there to object.
