Is it based on your total tax liability or your total income?
Ugh, I'm toeing the line on 2019 returns at 75k. I'm absolutely not qualifying for a penny if they lower it or go by 2020 returns.
And if we got married in 2020, does it still go by single income from 2019? My wife will qualify if that's the case.
Is this changing in the new stimulus package or something? I haven't yet gotten back on UI (stopped job just under 2 months ago) but I should qualify fine for PUA but probably not full UI and getting back on UI or not is pretty life changing for me. As in, if I get back on PUA with extended $300+/week I'll probably pay off my mortgage this spring, if I don't get UI at all I need to go find whatever job I can to pay my bills by spring.
The proposal early last month said that you would be able to collect UI even if you quit your job for fear of covid but I doubt that makes it into the final bill.

Yeah that's how the current UI works as far as I know, and officially that's basically what applies to me, though also kinda not. TL:DR- I was a pizza delivery driver, my store swapped to DoorDash, but employer did offer me a transfer to another position, but it would have been less hours in a less lucrative area, cases were spiking so I just said nah. Pretty sure in original UI determination I wouldn't get it, but more lax PUA ones I do.
They're bitching and moaning now, but if they're going to pass this with zero Republicans on board then I doubt they're also going to adopt republican means testing.

~220k, but who's counting?
Wait I lost track of if it was you or someone else who should buy me a 3090.
