The Dimengion thing is a wacky but interesting concept lol

I hate that when the camera changes orientation, my controller won't change it's direction until I let go of the left stick and start again

FYI my physical copy came today. SE made certain the only place Mistwalker is mentioned anywhere on the box cover is buried in the middle of the size 8 font legal footer on the back lol. Otherwise it's SE logos all over. So silly.

Okay, I have made it to part 2 and I feel like the real game starts now. Part 1 was decent, part 2 is getting really good. Skill trees are opening up for people. Bosses have movement based mechanics I've never really seen in turn based games before. Music still fantastic. Really digging it

Finally finished it. Like I said, it was a slow burn but what a great game. 11/10 music. Combat system was fun, the characters are all varied and useful in different situations. I had a great time.

I had avoided the Final Battle because I wanted to experience it in the moment. Man what a banger

Also one more thing. The use of dioramas for environments was really cool. Don't know if I've ever seen that in a game before.

The dioramas looked like absolute butthole fluid on Apple TV, so I'm very much enjoying them rendered properly on PS5.
