Just as a heads up, if they stay true to the manga (which considering how far they've pushed things already, why wouldn't they), it's only going to get worse. It has one of the worst things I've ever seen happen in a manga.

Blade (Sword Hero) gets tricked by Keyaru and tortured, then gets raped to near-death and eaten alive after he uses an aphrodisiac on a bunch of dudes to turn them basically into BG posters during lockdown.

That's the point where I decided I was about done with the manga.

Alright, well, I'm done with that Anime, now. Thats really such a shame because I liked the take on the story. His Heal powers were interesting and it could have been cool to explore them and what they do exactly.

Who would have thought a show with "time-traveling rapist" as its main selling point would eventually start turning increasingly extreme.

Was actually wondering if new seasons would go further down this hole when people talked about Goblin Slayer, but seems that they'll just wind up going further until you have way more than one or two token shows a season that toss in amounts of rape comparable to a bad fanfic for cheap drama/storytelling.

Generally, I always wished they'd just reduce the fanservice because it accomplishes nothing that benefits the actual storytelling. Next came increasing amounts of fetish-stuff and now rape may become the next big thing to toss in for sales. Seriously, I like porn, but leave the porn and fetish-stuff to, well, porn.

Goblin Slayer has been hella toned down from what it started off as. Healer Redo gets hella rapey for a bit then not at all. It's both extremes.

Mushoku Tensei Ep8

They certainly weren't joking when they named this episode Turning Point. Those last 5 minutes shattered my expectations. Holy shit Studio Bind has massive balls for adapting the bedroom scene, which I thought will be greatly toned down. Not only they held no punches, they really stuck to the source material to a fault. I already read the whole LN so I'm solely judging the anime based on how faithful it is to the source material. It's been doing an exceptional job so far.

Shit is gonna get real next week on Tensei Slime. I'm really curious how dark the anime will take it, considering how dark shit gets with the manga and the LN. This week's episode was decent, but they kinda fucked up the whole "post town massacre, how do we go forward from here discussion" bit. The LN was great and the manga really did it justice IMO, but the anime just wasn't up to snuff.

Also means not much longer till best Butler makes his appearance and shortly after that is the big guy who started this all

In a somewhat surprising twist, all 3 Galar starters have been finally introduced in the Pokemon anime and not a single one was caught by Ash (all by Goh). Ash's team is pretty great regardless though and it seems like his Farfetch'd will evolve into a Sirfetch'd soon
