Slime was top tier this week (and should be even better next week with the arrival of best Butler). But fuck, ReZero is on another fucking level. I can't wait for next week

I don't really understand the full motivation in slime. He hears the story of the demon lord/resurrection, but they also say that the when the dragon came back to life it had no soul and had to be destroyed. Does he just not care if his friends are resurrected with no soul and he has to kill them again? Seems a bit hand wavy to me.
The barrier that Falmus put over Tempest is containing the souls of those who were killed. Shuna + Myulen put up ANOTHER barrier with the one Rimuru put up, so that when the Falmus one got taken down, there were still like 2 or 3 barriers around Tempest.
The barriers are currently containing the souls of all the people who died. So Rimuru's plan is to turn into a full on Demon Lord and use his new powers + the contained souls to fully revive everyone
Tbh they spelled that out pretty clearly![]()
Haven’t watched any of season two of Promised Neverland but read the whole manga. Saw a screenshot of episode 10, they couldn’t possibly have gotten that far. Did they really skip an assload of arcs?
They cut the bunker guy then had a time skip after the attack. Never caught up on the manga so couldn't say what else didn't make it.
Reading more into it and holy shit they straight up cut some of the best characters and one of the best arcs of the series. Why the hell would they do that? As far as I can recall season one was pretty popular.
That's disappointing, it's not been a bad season in a vacuum but it did feel super rushed. Looking forward to reading the manga after this at least.
Diablo!!!!

Re:Zero was good this week but definitely not as good as last week

I read the manga and was horribly disappointed with what they did to season 2 of The Promised Neverland. There were several scenes I was looking forward to seeing in an animated adaptation only to have it all skipped. Some amusing reactions that I came across on reddit:
Spoiler: show
I still can’t believe that last 30 second clip show... does the studio never want to get work again? Lol
Never played DOTA dragon blood but the Netflix anime was pretty cool. About to start watching Invincible on Prime.
Damn, that sucks Jujutsu Kaisen is over for now.
That was probably one of the best seasons of any anime imo. The animation, the source material, and the music was all great all the way through. It's been a while since I actually looked forward to each week's episodes in an anime.
I'm gonna start reading it from the beginning now, but up to this point, I still stand by what I said earlier in the thread that it has potential to be one of the GOATs. Hopefully it's still up there currently in the manga (supposedly the arc after the anime is crazy as hell).
JK is indeed amazing.
I suspect it will be up and running again in no time, and with less downtime between seasons going forward.
The only downtime will be from letting the manga progress enough to give the anime plenty to work with. It's the model Jump is going with for most of their mangas and it's waaaaaay fucking better then the non-stop episode a week formula that OP/Naruto/Bleach did
