Stafford trade talks have gotten "hot and heavy" and apparently we'll see something this next week.
I really think Denver should go for him. They have really good weapons and Lock is prob not the answer.
denver is my favourite option for both sides too. elway doesn't know how to draft qbs and his greatest success as a gm was bringing in a veteran qb... stafford isn't peyton but fuck it, try it again
and for the lions having the #7&9 picks would allow them to move up to #3 if they wanted to ensure a qb
Wow
lions should take all that and trade it for watson now
Huh, I really want to know how the Rams are gonna work the cap on this one.
lions def won this trade, rams are so deep in “win now mode” it’s gonna kill them
Also if that's what Stafford costs I can't imagine what the Texans would want for Watson
Jesus Christ that is expensive as fuck.
Watson has a no trade clause so he’d probably say fuck no to Detroit.
magic johnson must be giving the rams financial advice not realizing the nfl has a cap
Stafford is an upgrade over Goff, but not THAT much for what it cost.
Last I checked the Rams are 31 mil over the projected cap for next season (which I think hasn't been adjusted for the lost revenue from COVID) and Goff carries something like 22 mil in dead money even after being traded.
And yeah I'm sad the Niners didn't get Stafford but not at that price, jesus
Denver needs to go after Watson now. That trade just made Watson even more expensive.
if stafford is worth this much then watson is worth 5 firsts lol
Nobody can realistically afford Watson at this point except Jets and Fins. I’m pretty sure there’s a cap of how many firsts you can trade in the nfl lol.
