you were formerly not a broke ass bitch but GME is cheep cheep now.
I'll buy more, I'll do it.
Aw man, I should have held on to my SNDL. Oh well, I still made some green.
Dang, 2-3 weeks ago I was eyeballing "Weed" stocks what with it becoming/being legal in a lot of places and with a now Democratic President/(Majority?) we might see it expand even further. I slept on it now the boats sailed. I'd kick myself.
Is there an actual reason to believe weed will be legalized anytime soon other then "well dems are in power" or are we mostly just witnessing the power of autism being applied to weed stonks instead of GME/AMC/etc
there isn't even a consensus in the party on legalization v decriminalization (which is Biden's position). efforts will continue at the state level with wide variance but federally there's no reason to think an embattled Congress in the midst of pandemic and an ailing economy are going to prioritize weed, and little reason to think such efforts would unify the party or overcome a Republican filibuster.
and for what it's worth Manchin hates weed
Biden and Harris ain't exactly fans either
there may be movement there, Obama was against gay marriage till it was politically acceptable to be for it, but aye both of them currently come down, at best, on the decriminalization side. and there are so many more pressing issues they want to address i don't see a lot of political capital being expended upon it for some time. maybe when we get around to criminal justice reform some steps will be made.
a lot of states are moving towards legalization, VA house and senate both voted to legalize they have to reconcile the bills or whatever, no retail shops till 2024 though which is poopy
