Not saying it will happen, but everyone should be aware it is an option.

From my understanding, that wouldn't change the situation outside of delaying the outcome since the shorts would still need to be filled when those 30 days end.

Also, is this something other countries' governments could also do? Would other countries have an issue with the US doing this?

I am gonna second this and emphasize this.

I sold at 340 yesterday out of caution and it is 500 now. Doesn’t bother me one bit. But that has taken a looooooot of trading mistakes to build up that skin.

Regret will make you FOMO. Stay rational and you’ll still make money. As much as everyone else? Maybe not. But more than you had before.

There is absolutely nothing fully preventing the government from halting trading and writing in a specific amendment to the rules or granting a special dispensation to this specific case under the guise of “preventing coordinated market manipulation.”

Absolutely nothing.

There are very real ways that the government can step in and end this for all of us in a way that ends badly for us and good for them. It would cause huge blowback and anger so the probability is low but it IS there and you SHOULD be aware of it.

These people are not in the habit of giving you free money.

Agreed, you need experience and lots of it. You just have to be methodical, plan your targets, etc. It took me a while to get over that 'oh shit sold early' feeling. For instance, right now all my alts (Link, Kusama, Graph) all pumped 15%, so I'll adjust my positions. I usually call it a day, but w/e the weekend is always green.
