FYI for you people who are about to get into this:

Crypto exchanges will never pull this RH / TDA / etc bullshit on you. They make money off of trade volume. You pay a very small price for every buy you make. Their money depends 100% on you trading, making money, and using that money to trade more.

Edit: It is also 24/7/365. They will never halt trading because of volatility.

They however will sometimes crash, so if you are planning to hold a coin make sure to keep it in a wallet.

In all seriousness, these were the right calls. Proper risk management is important.

We just might be on the verge of a brief era where risk management does nothing but lose you money. That isn't clear yet lmao. We'll find out over the next week / weekend. When people realize they can trade crypto on the weekend we might be in this for real.

also, for the people in here talking about their modest gains of 45$ and others talking about throwing in a couple dollars here and there. If you go on coinbase right now they have a bunch of free coins that you can get simply by doing a 3 question quiz for each basically with all the answers being on reddit if you google 'coin' quiz reddit.

A free 46$ or so to anyone who has a couple minutes to kill and signs up for coinbase.

For real though, do the quizzes on coinbase. It's only $45 now but shit goes up. When I did the $XTZ quiz it was like 80 cents and it went up to almost $5. Not a lot of money but it is > 0.

honestly the layout of poloniex for me just felt great, it was the most comfortable and clear to use just a pleasure to look at. Binance charts are ugly as hell but better than other sites their selling point was that they had all the sketchy altcoins listed incredibly early on so you could still catch the initial p&d's.

I love this lil guy like you wouldn't believe and do want to make a binance.us account but worried it might be merged into my other binance account of which i still have at least half a dozen alts that wouldn't be able to transfer over. Just don't feel safe given the level of KYC that i did on original binance until i move all those alts to kraken i guess. Beyond pissed kraken has far less alt/eth pairings though.

It wont merge. I had to do this 2 weeks ago. It is just some agnostic binance wallet of wallets with address and shit. You transfer over what you can transfer over directly to binance and then yeah, kraken or coinswap or blockfolio the rest.
