Yeah it was, but I'll still work part time on like a 3yr plan instead of dumping 60-90k into a for profit school and that last part is still up in the air lol.

Just go to a state school wtf.

I’m one of the few actual academics left around here and let me tell you, finding a state school that has programs specific to what you are interested in is the way to go. Get to know the faculty, let them know you are serious, and they will bend over backwards for you. Big fish in a little pond and it gives them something to care about.

You can leverage that to get far further in life than being mediocre at a better institution.

Even with “fuck you” money I maintain the position. I certainly wouldn’t be where I am if I went to Harvard or MIT for undergrad, I’d be much worse off. And, for what it’s worth, I’d be significantly less knowledgeable in my field.

State school does not have a schedule I could do unfortunately. It's all 4-5 days a week.

You should look more into this. They are usually willing to work with you or have other options. Worth a look. Anything is better than a for profit.

Yeah that's what I'm doing it gives me a second associate's cause the system is dumb but that's what it is. It's basically 3yr to A.S. With RN vs 3yr straight to BSN but those are the programs that don't have online/hybrid options.

It is categorically retarded to get a nursing degree at anything other than a community college. You graduate quicker and get in the workforce faster. Then you can work while getting a bachelor's. By going to a university, you are pissing away a year+ of income and accruing more debt for no gain. No one gives a shit where your degree came from in this field.

nah still holding, im in the middle of demoing a bathroom and putting roommates into other places so lil preoccupied
