There's moral hazard. Dude can afford to sit in there and do nothing and lose it all because he's cashed 13 million bucks. There's a metric ton of people investing based on his posts in some weird misbegotten belief that he helps prop up. I'm not saying he's legally responsible for shit.
I am happy to watch them lose their shirts but the guy is a dildo and not some hero figure.
What’s your expectation? He went out on a limb and said hey guys I think this could be a good investment play. He was called an idiot.
It worked out. And now because people saw they could make money too and he’s sticking to his plan he’s the bad guy? He helped a lot of people make a lot of money and it attracted a lot of the wrong type of attention. Now a lot of other people lost money for participating in something they didn’t understand. He’s not the bad guy here.
Arthur has lost his god damn mind

Now you can trade DOGE with 100x leverage and the DOGE market of our childhoods will never be the same
Nope. Just invested a little pocket money over 5 years ago in BTC, ETH, and LTC, and HODLing on paper wallets since. Get your coins from the exchanges, not your keys, not your coins. Don't get goxxed.
/edit: The risk on the long term is, sometimes it just stops dipping....
/edit: Technically, I also invested in BCH, because pre-fork.....
A lot of people don't realize he did more than buy a stock at $4 and make 50mil off it. He was loaded to the tits on leaps and went long way otm on Jan calls. He was called out by a lot of people for doing such a big gamble. He cashed out 8 digits. He reinvested. Him and his family won't have to work ever again. He has a ton of gambling money to leave in GME out of principal and a ton he's moved elsewhere.
If he hasn't sold I won't sell is real, people were in on GME since summer/fall because of him (me) and he definitely has a following. People are definitely going to hold because of him.
However I do think those holding because of him are people that are playing with house money or money they are willing to lose. Dumb guy who yolod his savings at the peak and joined wsb in the last week probably already selling most likey isn't the type to follow dfv.
I have to disagree here a bit, I would bet that the majority of people holding right now bought high and are staying in because old boy is still holding. As with everything like this, early in got paid and cashed. They are in for house money. People in before 2 weeks ago are paid and out. They’re mostly day traders or people that frontrun all this kinda shit. They’re also out, probably for a big win. The rest are memelords and incompetents. They’re in and they don’t know they should be out. Someone is always left holding the bag, in this case it’s the remaining dumb dumbs in WSB.
The morale of our story Zet, is people are dumb.
Yeah, they’re morans.
Today I'll be a moron and do something stupid like bag hold my calls or roll them deeper and lose it all. I want to just pick something and afk but nothing makes me happy.
Pick an ETF or targeted retirement fund with really low fees and yolo your investments into it automatically and then diamond hands it for 30-35 years.
did i do that rite.
I mean that's how one should do it, but yearly dividends don't make for good screenshots for reddit karma
what if you say you're diamond hands with some emojis? I LIKE THE FUND
listen i'm just trying to fit in
how i buy etf
get on your learning machine and look at SCHB and VTI and VOO and IVV for equities and AGG or BND or something similar for your bond exposure. they all have super duper low fees (under .05% in all cases I think)
this is not investment advice
